           In the book I Am The Messenger, Ed stop a Gunman who went to rob a bank. The gunmsn drop his weapon and Ed picked it up and shit him. Ed does not have a strict family because both his sisters got pregnant young and moved away while his brother I away at school. Ed did not go to college because all he liked to do was read. Ed also meets a women who he pretends to be the husband because he wants something out of it and to be nice. Finally, Kills and man for abusing a lady and possibly the daughter. That is what happened in book 1 of I Am The Messenger.
